Dean’s greetings

Welcome to the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics at Óbuda University. We offer degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. Our faculty has active research programs in diverse areas across computer science.

We offer a comprehensive undergraduate curriculum that provides students with a strong foundation in both the software and hardware aspects of computing, as well as the mathematics and science that underlie the discipline. We are continually reexamining and revising our curriculum to stay current and to embrace the many ways in which computer technology influences the arts as well as the sciences. Our undergraduate students have ample opportunities to engage in our research projects. Our graduates have been hired by market leading companies.

Our facilities include several of teaching and research laboratories, knowledge centers that span diverse areas of computer science, bioinformatics, computer engineering and robotics.
